Case Study Update for Homes for sale Jackson Hole
Just a quick update on my latest experiment for http://homesforsalejacksonhole.com . I really have only been able to work on this in my spare time but the results are, well pretty good give the time spent. Here what we have at the moment. I have blocked out the URL because well I can’t give away my secrets just yet.
Ranking on the second page of Google – 2 slots. The amazing thing is the second slot ranked in 4 days. See it here.
The best news is that for the same search terms we took over the #1 and #2 slot on Google Video. See the rankings here
I have included the video for you to see that it was really no big deal. But the really big deal as my friend Mike would say is that it took these slots in 7 days. Can you believe that!

Homes for Sale Jackson Hole – Case Study 6/24/2010
Well I have been very busy over the last 48 hours and haven’t devoted the time I needed. I do need sleep. Anyway we didn’t break the page one barrier yet for homes for sale in jackson hole but we did manage to get a second slot on the second page. I just realized this may be the appropriate time to discuss the “Google Sandbox”. If you don’t know about the Google Sandbox well you are not alone. The Sandbox (a.k.a. Sandboxing or the sandbox effect or the Google penalty) is a name given to an observation about the way Google ranks web pages in its index. It is the subject of much debate—its existence has been written about[1][2] but not confirmed and several observers state that they have observed the contrary.[3]
According to the sandbox effect, Google temporarily reduces the page rank of new domains, placing them into what is referred to as its “sandbox”, in an effort to counter the ways that search engine optimizers attempt to manipulate Google’s page ranking by creating lots of inbound links to a new web site from other web sites that they own.
A “reverse sandbox” effect is also claimed to exist, whereby new pages with good content, but without inbound links, are temporarily increased in rank—much like the “New Releases” in a book store are displayed more prominently—to encourage organic building of the World Wide Web.[3][4]
David George disputes the claim that Google applies sandboxing to all new web sites, saying that the claim “doesn’t seem to be borne out by experience”. He states that he created a new web site in October 2004 and had it ranked in the top 20 Google results for a target keyword within one month. He avers that “[n]o one knows for sure if the Google sandbox exists”, and comments that it “seems to fit the observations and experiments of many search engine optimizers”. He theorizes that the sandbox “has introduced some hysteresis into the system in order to restore a bit of sanity to Google’s results”.[3]
In an interview with the Search Engine Roundtable website, Matt Cutts is reported to have said that there are some things in the algorithm that may be perceived as a sandbox that don’t apply to all industries.[5] Jaimie Sirovich and Cristian Darie state that they believe that, while Google does not actually have an explicit “sandbox”, the effect itself (however caused) is real.[4]

A Page A Day For Homes For Sale In Jackson Hole
Early this morning I loaded a post identifying the fact that within 2 days I was able to jump to page 3 of Google with homes for sale in Jackson Hole. Well I am happy to report that six hours after that post, we jumped to page 3 of Google. That is a page a day once indexed. Here is the proof

Hey everyone, over the last 2 weeks I started 2 brand new Google Page Ranking Studies. The newest one is homes for sale in Jackson Hole Wyoming. I chose this one because I wanted to prove to everyone that these techniques work in any niche market so I started thinking..hmm real estate. That is a competitive market regardless of the geographic location. The competition paying Google for paid ads was decent. So I took the shot and purchased my URL from Godaddy.com did some internal server transfers, loaded up WordPress, copied the Thesis theme in and bingo. Up and running. Then I went to work doing my thing. I did make a crucial mistake. Facts About Google Search Engine Optimization and Page Ranking
Well it has been a long time coming but here is another example of how to search engine optimization to dominate the first page of Google. As you might imagine it does take time for Google to index and rank the site. It is important to note that there has been much discussion on the web around a web site’s age in the process of ranking in the search engines. This is obviously not as big a factor as they make it out to be. Within 30 days of creation we were able to own 50% of the first page of Google and we anticipate that this percentage will continue to increase. We have included many articles and videos by other experts in the Search Engine Optimization and Page Ranking industry as a resource for our readers. For disclosure purposes, we do use some of these techniques for our clients but when our client’s want quick and total domination of the first page of Google we utilize proprietary techniques and software which are not free. Also for disclosure purposes, the results that you see are all free organic results and that these results are not typical and may vary depending upon many factors.
