We have worked hard over the last 3 weeks to test our methods to dominate Google in a niche, specifically the high end real estate market. In the precess we have uncovered a couple of really interesting things. The first is all of the chatter regarding the “Google Sand Box”. The Google Sand Box is a construct created by many SEO companies that says when you initiate a marketing campaign for a particular website that you will be “Sand Boxed” for about a month before you will see results of your investment. Well we now know that with respect to video the “Sand Box” is nowhere to be found. How can I say that just see the Evidence Here .
The more interesting point of view is that if someone who is not a real estate agent trying to sell homes in Jackson Hole can dominate the first page of Google’s video page. Why is that important? Well let me explain. If I were looking for a home for sale in Jackson Hole I want to see the property or a video of the property. Since setting up this site, my Google Analytics shows that I had folks from California, Arizona,Louisiana,Oregon,Illinois,Mississippi,Nebraska,Alaska and Australia visiting the site. Why is that important? There are folks that are interested in homes for sale in Jackson Hole. Now how does someone in those locations going to get engaged in the real estate market in Jackson Hole through a static web site. How do they chose an agent? They don’t they chose a property and go with the agent. So the bottom line is that these real estate agents have been so jaded by the fact that they represent luxury properties and they don’t have to do anything but put up a static site and people will chose. They don’t realize that Internet marketing is a WAR. You need to dominate to win. We will see if they get the point. You can see the proof here
